India won its fourth match at the ICC 2019 Cricket World Cup today. The Men in Blue were up against Team Afghanistan in today’s match and honestly, we have not come close to defeat like this in any of the previous matches. Well, a big thanks to Mohammed Shami for scoring a hattrick right when Afghan team needed 12 runs to win from two balls. Twitter is overflowing with joyour messages as Team India won the match in the final overs in a nailbiting turn of events. Bollywood celebs were also glued to the TV sets cheering for Team India. Some of the celebs took to Twitter to express their joy and congratulate Team India.

India defeated Afghanistan by 11 runs at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground. Chasing a modest target of 225 runs, Nabi and Rashid Khan played brilliantly and they smashed regular boundaries. The match became extremely interesting when Afghanistan needed 16 runs in the last over. Shami was on the pitch to bowl the final over. On his third ball, Nabi gave an easy catch to Hardik Pandya. Then Shami took another two wickets. With this, Shami has become the second Indian bowler to take a hat-trick in the World Cup after Chetan Sharma’s feat in the 1989 World Cup. CWC’19: India Win a Thriller, Beat Afghanistan by 11 Runs.
