As per the usual precedent, if the moon is sighted in Saudi Arabia, it is most likely that the entire region of the Middle East, Gulf and Northern Africa, will announce the observance of Eid al-Fitr 2019 tomorrow.
The region, including West Asia, began Ramadan ul Kareem together on May 6. The 29th fast has been kept today, and if the moon remains unseen, then the 30th fast would be observed tomorrow.
In the Indian subcontinent, no attempts will made to sight the crescent today. The region, where Ramadan is also referred to as Ramzan, began the holy month a day later on May 7. Therefore, attempts to sight the moon in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar will be undertaken tomorrow. If the moon gets sighted, Eid al-Fitr will be observed on June 5.
