Virginia TV journalists Alison Parker and Adam Ward shot dead

West Virginia during live Tv broadcasting two journalists have been shot. WDBJ7, a local channel has confirmed the deaths of two employees and said that the 24-year Alison Parker and 27-year-old cameraman Adam Ward Bedford are killed in County area “Moneta” during an interview.


The incident occurred Wednesday morning near Smith Mountain Lake, in a large shopping center called Bridgewater Plaza.

Alison Parker’s can been seen on Channel footage while starting interview,  when suddenly the eight gunshots are heard, the camera moves around and falls to the ground and shouting can be heard. TV station said the woman was being interviewed, survived the attack.

Police said that, they are investigating the incident and currently it is also looking for the attackers.

TV channel general manager ‘Jeffrey Marx’ announced two deaths on the TV’.

He said: “Alison and Adams in the quarter to seven shots were fired. We currently do not know anything about the motives of the killings.

Shortly after Virginia Governor Terry told to a local radio station, that the attackers apparently a former employee of the TV channel appears.

They also say that “it is the scene of terrorist attacks and crime.
